Ding Auto was founded by an automobile veteran, who has the passion and strong desire to "turn an ugly duckling into a swan". Ding Auto founder, Mr Ding Tang Ling, came from a humble beginning, in which he started as a panel beater with a renowned company Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (STAR).
With the pride he took in his work, Mr Ding progressed to be a Quality Assurance Inspector, before assuming the position of Operations Executive manning two STAR branches.

As his passionate self and services spread through word-of-mouth, friends and customers persuaded Mr Ding to set up his own accident repair workshop. And with that, Ding Auto was born. Ding Auto is located in the heart of Sin Ming Industrial Estate, which enjoys the reputation of Singapore automotive repairer. The premise is readily accessible to public amenities and transports.

Currently the company is being led by the second generation of the family, Mr. Kenneth Ding, to managed the business.
